Good Morning Britain's Laura Tobin was forced to address a fashion blunder live on today's show.

The meteorologist was warning the UK about the frosty conditions to come when ITV viewers noticed a label sticking out the back of a maroon Christmas jumper.

Viewers quickly picked up on it and flooded the show with tweets to alert Laura.

”@GMB please tell the weather lady Laura she has a sale ticket hanging from the back of her 'twinkle' jumper,” one wrote.

Another tweeted: “Laura, I like the new jumper but I think you've forgotten the label on the back.”

A third joked: “It's so foggy out there Laura couldn't see her price tag label on her Xmas jumper.”

After reading some of the tweets, Laura addressed the stray label on the show, telling viewers: “Before we got on with the weather, just to address a fashion faux pas.

”Now, I can show you it's gone now. I think it's a borrowed one. I'm meant to be sending it back, that's why the label is still in there.

”So that's all sorted – all my Twitter feed is full of that, not the other stuff we're talking about this morning.”

And Laura lifted up her hair to prove the label had been tucked away.

Today's show also saw fans laughing after Piers Morgan was forced to clarify that he's not the “pigeon lady” from Home Alone 2 – despite an uncanny resemblance.

Susanna Reid brought up the rumours, which have circulated for years, once again as the show got into the Christmas spirit.

In fact, it was Piers' eldest Spencer who first brought up the comparison.

And there was cause to celebrate for Susanna today after Piers told her she topped a list of the “best bums” – edging out Kim Kardashian, J-Lo and Pippa Middleton.

”Amanda Holden and Susanna Reid have the world's best bums and beat Kim Kardashian's peachy posterior, according to the golden ratio,” Piers read during the show.
