[new sexy game]Arizona Diamondbacks’ new ‘Serpientes’ uniform draws rave reviews： ‘Simplicity is sexy’
The Arizona Diamondbacks unveiled a new uniform over the weekend and reaction to the new look for the team has been very positive overall.
The uniform is part of Nike’s MLB City Connect Series and the Diamondbacks are the fifth of seven teams who will unveil new looks as part of the series this season.
The uniforms feature the word “Serpientes,” a Spanish translation of snakes, across the chest and “were designed in collaboration with Nike to highlight the franchise’s desert roots, the state’s Hispanic culture and the bond between the team and its fans,” according to a release from the team.
The team is first scheduled to wear the uniform on June 18 in the first game of a 3-game series at home against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Sporting News ranked all five released Nike City Connect uniforms for this season and they had Arizona’s ranked No. 3, but the site heaped a lot of praise on the look.
Joe Rivera wrote: “The D-backs rank third here, but they?might as well be tied for first. While some of the other uniforms on here are heavily over-designed, the Diamondbacks opted for simplicity with these uniforms, and they’re very, very nice.? The color of the uniform is meant to mirror that of the sands of the Sonoran desert, while the script “Serpientes” across the front honors the Hispanic culture of Arizona. There’s also a very, very nice “V” patch, meant to symbolize Phoenix’s nickname, the “Valley of the Sun.” These are simple, but sometimes simplicity is sexy, which these are.”

Reaction to the look was also pretty positive on social media.
In an azcentral sports poll, more than 70% of voters selected “I love them” or “I like them” when asked for their thoughts on the new uniform.
Less than 30% voted “I don’t like them” or “I really don’t like them.”
Some people raved about the look on Twitter.
Not everyone, however, was a fan of the look …
